Warren Harding rallies past Shaker

SHAKER HEIGHTS — Trailing 9-7 at halftime, the Warren Harding High football team rallied for 17 points for a 24-9 victory over Shaker Heights Saturday,

Shaker Heights took a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter. Mike Dorsey, who rushed for 120 yards on 10 carries, put the Raiders out in front late in the period when ran 10 yards for a touchdown.

Dorsey put Warren Harding ahead for keeps when he tallied on a 55-run early in the third quarter.

Ben Penman kicked a 37-yard field goal late in the period.

The Raiders’ Joe Threats added insurance points when he returned a intercepted pass 98 yards for a TD in the fourth quarter.
