SCOUTS

Earns Eagle award

Christopher Schade, son of Terry and Terri Schade of Canfield, recently received the Eagle Scout Award at a court of honor in the Brown Pavilion of Camp Stambaugh, Canfield.

He was a member of Cub Scout Pack 25 from 1996 to 2001 at Canfield United Methodist Church, and attained Cub Scouting’s highest rank, Arrow of Light.

He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 25 at the church with Kevin Prus Sr. as scoutmaster.

He has been the troop’s senior patrol leader, patrol leader, assistant patrol leader, quartermaster and den chief. He has earned 24 merit badges and the God and Country Religious Award and Seven Ranges Fifth Year Pipe Stone. He attended Tinnerman Canoe Base, Gettsyburg Historic Hike, 50-mile canoe trip and summer camp.

For his Eagle Scout service project he planned, designed and coordinated construction of a display case for the Canfield Hockey Team located in the back hallway of Canfield High School.

Christopher is a 2008 graduate of Canfield High School, where he played varsity football and hockey and earned awards in both. He will attend Ohio University this fall. He also is a member of the church and its youth group.

LAWYERS

On board of governors

Atty. Albert J. Sauline III, formerly of Hubbard, has been elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, representing the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida.

He took the oath of office in Clearwater Beach in July and his term is effective through June 2010.

Sauline is currently an assistant state attorney in Panama City. He and his wife, Anna, live in Panama City Beach. He is a 1996 graduate of Hubbard High School, 2000 graduate of Youngstown State University, and 2004 graduate of Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

He is the son of Albert and Marcia Sauline of Hubbard.

PHARMACY

Earns doctoral degree

Cari Misel has received a doctor of pharmacy degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Pharmacy at a ceremony at Louis J. Tullio Arena in Erie, Pa.

Dr. Misel, of Mineral Ridge, is the daughter of Ronald and Carol Misel of Mineral Ridge.

She served as the Mentoring Club president, an ambassador for the college, and is a member of American Pharmacist Association and National Community Pharmacist Association.

Misel has interned at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Rite Aid while in college. She has accepted a position as a pharmacist in Dublin, Ohio.
