AARP 4545
SBlt Elmer Haidle will preside when Boardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, meets at 11 a.m. Sept. 4 at Holiday Inn South in Boardman. The menu choice is Swiss steak or baked scrod for $13.50.
Reservations should be made by Friday by sending a check with the entree choice to Helen Day, 543 W Glen Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, or by calling (330) 782-2816. The program will be presented by guest speaker Crissi Jenkins of the Youngstown Hearing and Speech Center.
Anniversaries and birthdays will be observed, and new members and guests are welcome.

SBlt Retirees of Commercial Intertech will meet at noon Tuesday for a picnic at the pavilion in Harding Park, Hubbard. Lou Pizzuto will preside.

ERIE Railroad
SBlt Erie Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Belleria Pizzeria, 3460 S. Meridian Road, Cornersburg. Reports will be given, and birthdays will be recognized. All railroad retirees and their spouses are welcome.
LIBERTY FRIENDS
SBlt A meeting of Liberty Friends will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Liberty Presbyterian Church on state Route 304. Members are asked to take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided.
MARTHA LUPSE
SBlt Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Don Patchen will give the devotions, and there will be a pizza party at noon.
