• YOUNGSTOWN — A reception at the Avion on the Water in Canfield honored Chad Ochs and his bride, the former Jaclyn Theis, after their 2 p.m. Feb. 16 wedding at Zion Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Dr. Dale R. Giffin officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Joan Theis Gent, 122 Wilcox Road, and the late Jeffrey Theis, and the son of Joe and LaDonna Ochs, 2301 County Road 23, Burgoon.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple live at 1938 County Road 31, Fremont.
The bride’s organza A-line gown featured detachable cap sleeves, side draping, blue, white and silver embroidery and a chapel train.
Joanna Theis served as the honor attendant for her sister, and bridesmaids were Kelly Fizet, Amber Tryon, Erica Flack, Kimberly Strait, Melanie Conaway and Jennifer O’Dell.
Eric Ochs performed the duties of best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Andy Beaston, Justin Boatman, Ryan Schade, Josh Maxwell, Matt Lawrence and Andrew Williams. The usher was Andy Wonderly.
The bride graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.
The groom is an RCA driver with Tiffin Postal Service and is self-employed with Rollin in Green Lawn Services in Fremont.
