CANFIELD

Aug. 10

Theft: Several compact discs were stolen from a vehicle in the driveway of a home on Woodland Run.

Aug. 11

Bad check: A check was written against a closed account to Bernard Daniels Lumber, 250 Railroad Street.

Identity theft: Numerous unauthorized charges were made on two separate credit cards at a home on Overbrook Drive.

Aug. 14

Drug abuse: An 18-year-old Akron man was arrested at East Main Street and Elizabeth Place on charges of drug abuse. Police found suspected marijuana.

AUSTINTOWN

Aug. 11

Drug offense: A woman from Farmington, Mich., was arrested for possession of marijuana at state Route 46 and Interstate Boulevard.

Theft: Gasoline was siphoned from a vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Criminal trespass: A homeless man was arrested for trespassing at the Red Diamond, 4437 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A male juvenile is accused of theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A catalytic converter from a pickup was stolen at 7 Up, 1142 N. Meridian Road.

Fraud: A motorcycle was titled to a man without the owner’s knowledge at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Theft: A male is a suspect in a theft at Advanced Audio Overdrive, 5462 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: A Canfield man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and drug instruments and released on a summons at Kirk Road and Penny Lane. Police found syringes, cigarette filters and a spoon with charred residue.

Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: An Austintown boy was arrested and released to a parent at South Main Street and Huntmere Avenue after police found four morphine pills on him.

Theft: A man was issued a summons for theft at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A passenger-door mirror was broken off a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Theft: Numerous items were stolen from a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 2000 block of Penny Lane.

Debit card fraud: Unauthorized transactions were made on a debit card at McDonald’s on Belmont Avenue, Youngstown.

Breaking and entering: Copper wire was stolen at Marlowe’s Coffee Service, 3635 Canfield Road.

Theft: Prescription medication was taken from an auto in the 3000 block of Darbyshire Drive.

Aug. 13

Dog complaint: The owner was cited for a loose dog at a home in the 100 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: Six propane gas tanks, all filled, were stolen from Home Depot, 6100 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: Craftsman air compressor was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Pineshadow Court.

Theft: Two aluminum ladders were stolen at Grace Nazarene Church, 5253 W. Webb Road.

Theft: Currency was taken from a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Missing wallet: A men’s wallet was reported missing at an unknown location.

Criminal damaging: A teeter-totter was damaged at Brockwood Park, South Warwick Drive.

Theft: Four suspects fled in a red Ford four-door after a theft at Wal-Mart.

Criminal damaging: A windshield was damaged on a vehicle at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A maroon 2004 Lincoln Navigator with dealer plates was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of South Saratoga Avenue.

Theft: A Sirius satellite radio was stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of New Road.

Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown on a house in the 300 block of North Benton Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was scratched at an unknown location.

Theft: A payroll check was taken and cashed at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Aug. 15

Burglary: A man was arrested for burglary at an apartment in the 1000 block of Laurie Drive.

Theft: A trailer and its contents were taken from Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A Visa card was taken at Fuel Mart, 5301 Seventy-Six Drive.

Aggravated menacing: A male caller is accused of making menacing phone calls to a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was spray-painted at a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.

Criminal damaging: A garage door was spray-painted at a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.

Criminal damaging: A window in a residence was damaged in the 4000 block of Westmont Drive.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Aug. 16

Criminal damaging: A fire extinguisher was thrown through the front window of a home in the 3000 block of Heritage Drive.

Tampering with coin machines: A washing machine coin box was tampered with in the 3000 block of Woodhurst Drive.

Breaking and entering: Cabinets, a water tank and copper, etc., were stolen from an apartment in the 3000 block of Westminister Drive.

Theft: Phones were stolen from Radio Shack, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Two people were apprehended for theft at Wal-Mart, a woman who was issued a summons and a male who was sent to county jail.

Tampering: A coin machine was damaged at Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Bicycles were stolen from McDonald’s, 1709 S. Raccoon Road.

Aug. 17

Theft: A woman reported having $400 stolen at a home in the 100 block of North Roanoke Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A windshield and hood of a vehicle were damaged at a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: $56.23 in fuel was stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: Paint balls struck siding of a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.

Theft: A ring was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of South Saratoga Avenue.

Receiving stolen property: A man was arrested and sent to county jail for receiving stolen property, a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu, on Burkey Road and Westgate Boulevard.

Burglary: A computer and coins were stolen at a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.
