Charity walk will be Sunday in Mill Creek Park

YOUNGSTOWN — The Multiple Sclerosis Services Agency’s 17th annual MS Super Walk begins at 10 a.m. Sunday in Mill Creek Park. The four-mile walk begins at the Wick Recreation Area off McCollum Road. Walkers will proceed past lower Bears Den, the Lily Pond, the Wall Garden and back to the starting point, where lunch will be served. . Roads that will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the four-mile walk are Bears Den Drive, Cross Drive, New Cross Drive and West Park Drive. Walkers earn money for MS by securing donations on a per-mile basis or a flat amount. Walkers who turn in the top three amounts of money the day of the walk will receive prizes: $250, first; $125, second, and $75, third. Walkers who raise $125 or more will receive a Super Walk sweat shirt; and walkers who raise between from $75 to $124 will receive a Super Walk T-shirt.
