X POLAND — Marlene Scutti, of 5980 Lightner Place, announces the engagement of her daughter, Vera Davis, of the same address, to Russ McCombs, a son of Russ and Roselee McCombs, all of 1116 Carr St., New Castle, Pa. Miss Davis is also the daughter of the late Donald Davis.
Invitations will be extended for the couple’s wedding at 5 p.m. Aug. 2 at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Boardman and for a reception that evening at Johnny’s Banquet, also in Boardman.
The bride-elect is a secretary-technician for Liberty Carpet & Upholstery in Youngstown. The future groom is a driver for Roehl Transport of Marshfield, Wis.
