Hot Hollywood stars party at magazine bash

LOS ANGELES — Eve, Heidi Klum and Nicky Hilton were among the beautiful people who turned out for US Weekly magazine’s Hot Hollywood party.

The annual celebration of young Hollywood style, held Thursday at Eva Longoria’s new Beso restaurant in Hollywood, also drew famous faces from MTV’s “The Hills” and ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”

Lauren Conrad chatted up the press on the red carpet outside as Ian Ziering shimmied across the dance floor under crystal chandeliers. Klum shared a table with friends as Cheryl Burke stole a smoke outside.

Meanwhile, Marlee Matlin and Cristian de la Fuente commanded a corner in the upstairs VIP room, which was all red vinyl booths and velvet wallpaper.

Though will.i.am disappeared into the crowd shortly after his arrival, his presence was loudly felt as DJ Steve Aoki spun his tunes over the club’s bass-heavy system.

Despite a capacity crowd, Eve talked her way into the VIP area: “I’m sure it will be OK,” she assured a security guard.

Rumer Willis, wearing long hair extensions, didn’t have the same success and fled with pals when the doorman turned her away.

Hasselhoff, ex-wife agree on support payment

LOS ANGELES — David Hasselhoff has agreed to pay $25,000 a month to support his ex-wife and children.

Court documents released Thursday show the former “Baywatch” star’s divorce settlement calls for him to pay $21,000 a month to ex-wife Pamela Bach and another $4,000 to support their daughters, 17-year-old Taylor and 15-year-old Hayley.

Hasselhoff and Bach have joint custody of the children.

The couple also agreed to joint ownership of their San Fernando valley home and will divide the family’s cars, bank accounts and Hasselhoff’s pensions from acting and directing guilds.

Bach and Hasselhoff divorced in 2006 after more than 16 years of marriage.

Lance Bass speaks up against remaining silent

NEW YORK — Lance Bass doesn’t want others to stay silent as he did.

So he’s made a public service announcement for the Gay, Lesbian Straight Education Network (GLSEN). The spot, which was distributed virally Friday, debuts in advance of the 11th annual National Day of Silence on April 25, when students take a vow of silence to protest bullying, harassment and discrimination in schools.

“I think it’s time for me to stand up ... and help educate, because I’m lucky enough to have been given a voice to be able to talk and grab the attention of people,” said the 28-year-old singer, who’s gay.

Bass — who joined ’N Sync in 1995 with Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick — announced in July 2006 that he’s gay.
