X GIRARD — Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Lariccia of Girard celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner party April 6 at Marino’s Restaurant in Austintown.
The couple’s children hosted the celebration. They are Benjamin Lariccia Jr. of Philadelphia, Janet Cook of Baltimore and Luann Castor of Girard. Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren round out the family.
On April 8, 1943, Mr. Lariccia and the former Frances Mendozzi were married at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown.
Mrs. Lariccia, a homemaker, volunteered at Forum Health Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
Mr. Lariccia retired in 1986 from the Youngstown Foundry and G.F. Furniture, where he was a machinist. He is a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
The Lariccias belong to St. Edward Church in Youngstown.
