DeTunno 50th being celebrated today at brunch

XCAMPBELL — Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. DeTunno Sr., 520 Cynthia Drive, are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their wedding today during a brunch at the Dutch Village Inn, Columbiana.

Hosts for the event are their children and their spouses, Michele Kovach and Albert DeTunno of Poland; Annette and Mark Wellington of Queensbury, N.Y.; Jeannette and Manuel Ginnis of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; Joseph DeTunno Jr. of Pittsburgh; and Angelica and Michael DeTunno Mrakovich of Poland; along with their grandchildren, Annita, Melina and Makayla Ginnis, Mark and Shelby Wellington, Kara and Kody Kovach, and Kincaid and Peyton Mrakovich.

Mr. DeTunno and the former Rosalie Ramunno were married on Sept. 28, 1957, at St. Lucy Church in Campbell, where they are members.

Mrs. DeTunno, a homemaker, is a lifetime PTA member, and also a member of Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, Altar and Rosary Society and a monthly card club.

Mr. DeTunno was a machinist/skilled tradesman. He was employed in the machine shop at Youngstown Foundry from 1957 to 1973 and at Packard Electric in Warren from 1973 until retiring in 1999. He is a member of Youngstown Morra League, Lawrence County Sportsmen Club and Tusco Sportsmen Club.
