New police chaplains are sworn in

YOUNGSTOWN — The newest members of the Youngstown Police Department chaplain corps were welcomed into service Thursday.

The new chaplains, including women for the first time, had their ID cards processed at the police station and then proceeded to the department’s planning and training center on Mahoning Avenue for a graduation ceremony.
