Area native appears on ‘Jimmy’s Head’

LIBERTY — Jenn Shagrin, a 2003 graduate of Liberty High School, will appear in the Cartoon Network’s new series, “Out of Jimmy’s Head” at 7 p.m. Friday.

The show features a blend of live action and animation. Shagrin will also appear in a future episode of the show on a date to be announced.

Shagrin also will have a recurring role on the upcoming season of “Reno 911” on Comedy Central.

The actress has also been involved in different film projects since moving to California in 2004.

She recently finished filming “Darkness Visible,” an independent thriller starring Sean Young, Juliet Landau and Barbara Bain. She will also be appearing in “Tru Loved” which is a teen-focused film about the struggle of a high-school student with a gay mother.
