Tarantine 50th marked in July at country club

XYOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tarantine of Youngstown observed their 50th wedding anniversary July 13 during a dinner party held at Fonderlac Country Club, New Springfield.

Invitations for the celebration were issued by their children and their spouses, Frank and Ruth Anne Tarantine of Youngstown, Jim Tarantine of Columbus, Anne and Steve Listisen of Youngstown, and Jan and John Rubesa of Poland. There six grandchildren in the family.

The Tarantines also attended an anniversary Mass that was held June 10 at St. Columba Cathedral.

Mr. Tarantine and the former Mary Mediate were united in marriage July 13, 1957, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. They are members of St. Christine Church.

Mrs. Tarantine is a homemaker. Her husband retired in 1996 from his position as professor of mechanical engineering at Youngstown State University. He is a member of Wolves Club, Den VI.
