XCANFIELD — The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 4 as Courtney Lynn Turek and Tanner Lee Larson, both of 1317 Fox Run Drive, Boardman, were united in marriage during a ceremony solemnized by the Rev. Terrence Hazel at St. Michael Church.

The daughter of John and Sally Turek, 180 Dartmouth Drive, and the son of Darlene Howell, 1322 Morningside Drive, Aliquippa, Pa., and the late Martin Larson, accepted congratulations at The Embassy, where a reception was held in their honor.

After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple live in Boardman.

Beaded appliqués embellished the satin bodice, tulle skirt and detachable cathedral train of the bride’s off-the-shoulder, white gown.

Mint-green gowns trimmed with black sashes were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Kayla Turek, and the bridesmaids, Rachel Tosi; Casey Larson, a sister of the groom; Michelle Courtney; and Elysia Shutrump.

Serving as best man was Michael Craig, and groomsmen were Jonathan Craig, Ben Getty, Manny Rojas Jr. and Ryan Aleski. Guests were ushered by David Krivonak and Mark Renton.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor’s degree. She is a legal assistant with Grace Chan in Hubbard.

The groom, an assistant manager with Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Warren, also received a bachelor’s degree from Westminster College.
