XBOARDMAN — Terry and Patti Shears, 7765 Silver Fox Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Adrienne Shears, and Joseph Deaton, both of 3252 N. Southport Ave., Chicago.
Parents of the future groom are Randy and Kathy Horne, 1731 Resor Road, Fairfield.
Miss Shears is a senior art director with Draftfeb in Chicago after graduating from Miami University at Oxford with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
Mr. Deaton earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing at Miami University and is a senior account executive with DHL in Chicago.
The couple have chosen Kumler Chapel on the campus of Miami University as the setting for their 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1 wedding. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at Shriver Center, also on the university campus.
