Planned unit developments allow more homes to be built on less acreage than traditional single-family housing plans. Some examples:
Abbey Road: KPZ Inc.’s plan off U.S. Route 224 between Raccoon and Summit roads includes 62 homes on 18 acres. Houses are expected to sell there starting at $230,000.
Wakehurst Village: It is in the 400-acre Westford Community development off Route 224. Of 40 lots in the PUD, seven are under construction, according to township zoning information.
