XAUSTINTOWN — The engagement of Marla Carano and Brian Honen and plans for their upcoming marriage are announced by her parents, Kenneth and Linda Carano of Austintown.
The future groom is a son of James and Patricia Honen of Boardman.
Invitations will be extended for the couple’s 1:30 p.m. Oct. 13 wedding at St. Maron Church, Youngstown, and for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and is pursuing a master’s in communication studies at the University of Akron, where she is a graduate assistant.
The prospective groom is a law clerk with Betras-Harshman, LLC. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from YSU and is attending the University of Akron School of Law.
