Voting Guide available for upcoming election
The Voter Guide, an informative newspaper on the November election, is currently available in Mahoning County.
The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County has copies available at its branches as well as other public and private business locations.
The Guide is published by The League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown and is a compilation of information provided by the candidates. It includes local and statewide ballot information. The newspaper editor is Dr. Barbara Brothers, professor emeritus at Youngstown State University, and assistant editors are Diane Koch and Jean Engle.
Financial support for the publication of the guide was provided by Bermann Electric, Butler Wick and Co. Inc., Citizen’s League of Greater Youngstown, Dominion Foundation, Farmers National Bank, Fireline Inc., FirstEnergy Foundation, First National Bank of Pennsylvania, First Place Community Foundation, Frank and Pearl Gelbman Charitable Trust, Home Savings Charitable Foundation, Key Bank and the Lariccia Family.
The Voting Guide also is available online at www.cboss.com/LWV. The polls are open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 6.
