XPOLAND — In commemoration of their 50th wedding anniversary, Ronald and Olga Sanders, 8237 Burgess Lake Drive, renewed their vows during 4 p.m. Mass on Oct. 6 at Holy Family Church, where they are members.
Invitations were issued for a reception afterward at Antone’s Banquet Center in Boardman.
Hosting the celebration were the couple’s children, Kathy and John Stone of Poland, Linda and John Krieger of Moreland Hills, and Brian and Cyndy Sanders of Streetsboro. A daughter, Karen Sanders, is deceased. The couple also have nine grandchildren.
Mr. Sanders and the former Olga Lubich were married Oct. 5, 1957, at St. Cecilia Church in Rochester, Pa.
Mrs. Sanders is a homemaker and belongs to Resurrection Choir and Marian Group at Holy Family.
Mr. Sanders retired as president of PBI Industries in Rochester. He is an Army veteran and was a corporal stationed in Alaska during the Korean War.
