FBI offers reward for info on North Lima bank robber


NORTH LIMA — The FBI is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gunman in a Halloween mask who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from a Market Street bank.

The man, described as about 6-foot to one inch tall, and weighing about 160 pounds, walked into the Huntington Bank, about 11 a.m. Friday wearing the mask and gloves and demanded money, said Beaver Township Police Lt. Kenneth P. Frost.

The man, who also wore a hood, got an undisclosed amount of cash, left the bank and fled south on foot.

Frost said that no one was injured.

Township police and agents from the FBI and Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation are investigating. The bank closed after the robbery.
