Festival of Trees set at HMHP hospitals

Humility of Mary Health Partners will hold its annual Festival of Trees from Nov. 28 through Dec. 6.

A total of 82 trees decorated by hospital staff will be raffled off at the region’s three acute care hospitals: St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, and — for the first time — St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Proceeds from St. Elizabeth’s and St. Joseph’s events benefit funds that help employees facing a crisis. Proceeds from the St. Elizabeth Boardman event will go to a Mission Closet for patients and families who may need clothing or other supplies while at the hospital. St. Elizabeth’s Boardman also has area businesses sponsoring trees, and Santa will be there from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 1.

The festival schedule at all three hospitals follows: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 28, 29, 30, Dec. 3, 4 and 5; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 1 and 2; and 7 a.m. to noon Dec. 5. Winning tickets will be pulled at noon Dec. 6, and tree pickup is from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. that day.
