Benefit football game to be played Sunday


POLAND — A 9-year-old former Union Elementary student will benefit from a football game played in her honor on Sunday. Jordan Swab, who currently lives in Campbell, suffers from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Members of the Poland Village Police Department, Poland Township Police Department and Western Reserve Joint Fire District will begin their game at 3 p.m. at Baird-Mitchell Football Field in Poland.

Tickets are $5 and children 8 and younger are free. They are available the gate and at Poland Village Police Department, Poland Township Police Department and Western Reserve Joint Fire District stations 91, 92 and 93.
