Austintown boil alert lifted

AUSTINTOWN —  Residents who were under a boil alert for cooking and drinking water no longer are.

Water was shut off Tuesday while pressure regulating equipment was installed on Kirk Road. After the water was turned on again, residents were advised to boil it.

Properties affected were on Kirk, Turner Road, Whispering Pines Drive, Whispering Pines Court, Meanderwood Court, Meanderwood Drive, Slippery Rock Drive, Berry Blossom Drive, Meander Reserve Circle and Meander Reserve Court.
