Vacant house torched on South Side

YOUNGSTOWN — A vacant house at 552 Harmon Ave. on the South Side was deliberately set on fire around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, the fire department said. Firefighters found the structure fully engulfed in flames when they arrived and allowed it to burn down. Damage was set at $10,000, a total loss.
