Former gun dealer charged with mail fraud

BOARDMAN — An information filed today in U.S. District Court, Cleveland charges Dominic Frazzini, who once owned the Shooting Gallery, a gun dealership and firing range on Southern Boulevard, with mail fraud.

An information means the defendant has waived indictment and, in nearly all cases, reached a plea agreement with the government.

The information says Frazzini, of Oak Ridge Drive, devised a scheme to obtain money over the Internet and other places for guns he did not have and never intended to deliver. He required the purchaser to mail him a partial payment for the firearms, the government said. The scheme operated between January 2002 and May 2003, court papers show. No court date has been set for Frazzini’s initial court appearance.
