Chautauqua events slated for Warren

WARREN — The Fine Arts Council of Trumbull County (FACT) and the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library will host Ohio Chautauqua from June 26-30 on the festival grounds near the Kinsman House along Mahoning Avenue.

Warren was selected as one of only five host communities across the Buckeye State. Ohio Chautauqua is coordinated and presented by the Ohio Humanities Council.

Ohio Chautauqua is a five-day event that combines living history presentations, education, local musical entertainment, theater and audience interaction in a cultural setting. This year’s theme is World War II and will feature scholars-in-residence portraying Franklin D. Roosevelt, Rosie the Riveter, Pearl S. Buck, Benjamin O. Davis and Margaret Bourke-White.

All Chautauqua activities are free and open to the public.
