Household cleaner bombs used at plaza

BOARDMAN — Someone reportedly set off several homemade household cleaner bombs outside a Market Street plaza last week.

The last device was found early Friday morning at the plaza in the 5200 block of Market.

An employee at one of the businesses in the plaza said the bombs also were set off on May 22, May 23 and May 24.

Police and fire investigators found plastic water jugs and toilet cleaner, which are both consistent with the homemade bombs, near the plaza.
