Free lunch and program at McGuffey Centre

YOUNGSTOWN — Friends of McGuffey Centre will present “Family Ties,” a free lunch and program for children and families, at 11 a.m. Saturday at the McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road.

Youths are encouraged to take a handmade craft item to be auctioned by celebrity auctioneer Madonna Chism Pinkard. Proceeds will be given to those who made the items. All youths must be accompanied by an adult.

The event also will feature performances by the Harambee youth group, raffles and prizes. Adults may meet with Joe Caffey, who will discuss financial management, investment and budgeting.
