Downtown building deal approved

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Central Area Community Improvement Corporation has approved the sale of a Federal Street building that’s been vacant for more than 20 years.

The CIC approved the sale of the John R. Davis building to the Sweet Jenny Land Co. at a meeting Tuesday.

The company plans to invest $332,000 to renovate the building which is just east of the Downtown Draught House.
