1As part of Monday's observance, Boardman Police Capt. Jerre Patterson read the names of eight servicemen, all from the township, who were killed in Vietnam and whose names are inscribed on a plaque at Boardman Township Park. Their service and ages:

Lt. Corp. Charles F. Azara: Served one year in the Marines; killed Aug. 24, 1966; age 23.

Lt. John F. Burns: One year in the Marines; killed Oct. 20, 1966; age 19.

David L. Eisenbraun: One year, Navy; Sept. 17, 1968; age 20.

Lt. Corp. Raymond G. Hahn: One year, Marines; June 17, 1967; age 20.

Pfc. Richard K. Lemmon: Army; April 12, 1969; age 22.

Edward R. Lozano: Navy; July 2, 1967; age 20.

Lt. Joseph J. Rhodes: Navy; Oct. 23, 1967; age 28.

Staff Sgt. Vincent M. Tomalka: Marines; March 15, 1967; age 28.
