PROGRAM PLANS 100 Black Men


The newly formed chapter of 100 Black Men of Greater Youngstown-Warren has a number of programs it plans to implement. Among them are:

40K Plus: A fund-raising effort to raise $10,000 per quarter per year through donations to finance programs for young people.

Trailblazer’s Ball: An event recognizing local trailblazers in various walks of life and a fund-raising activity for a college scholarship program.

Reacclaimation: Life skills program targeting young people coming out of the justice system.

Walk With 10 Black Men: Target pocket areas of Youngstown and Warren where members will walk the streets to make the organization’s presence known and to learn the concerns of those communities.

Stock Club: Teach young people financial literacy and how to participate in the stock market.

Banking In the Valley: Offering free seminars on personal banking, encouraging people to open individual bank accounts.
