What: The Mercer Memorial Day 500, Mercer’s Memorial Day Celebration, is hosting The National Flag Truck, where three 300-pound flags will be unfurled and held by the public for photographs.
When: Flags will be unfurled at 9 a.m. Monday. Those interested in helping should be there by 8:30 a.m. Mercer’s parade will follow at 11 a.m.
Who: It is estimated to take 100 to 200 people to hold each flag, organizers say.
Where: The flags will be unfurled on the Courthouse Square in Mercer, Pa.
