LIBERTY SCHOOLS | New superintendent

Mark Lucas, principal of William S. Guy Middle School, has been hired as the new Liberty superintendent of schools. His background:

Master’s in education from Westminster College in 1976.

Middle-school teacher at W.S. Guy from 1974 to 1986.

Principal at W.S. Guy from 1987 to 2007.

Instructor at Youngstown State University from 1998 to 2002.
