Girl, 10, hit with BB pellet

YOUNGSTOWN — A 10-year-old Plaza View Court girl getting off her school bus on McGuffey Road was hit in the chest with a BB pellet, her mother told police.

The girl, who suffered a minor injury, said a 17-year-old boy she knows only as Jeremy pointed the BB gun at her and fired once on Wednesday, reports show.

The boy ran and the girl went home to tell her mother what happened. No motive was given.
