Fire damages home in Liberty

LIBERTY — A fire did $75,000 in damage to a home at 2945 Roosevelt Drive, the fire department reports.

No one was in the house when the fire broke out at 11:30 a.m., the department said. The cause is believed to be an electrical short, and there were no injuries.
