3 offered corner sex, vice cops say

YOUNGSTOWN — Three women accused of soliciting sex on corners were arrested by undercover vice officers working an afternoon prostitution detail. One of the three charged with soliciting, Lisa Page, 41, of Zents Street, failed to appear for arraignment today in municipal court and a warrant was issued.

The other two, Connie Thomas, 51, of West Chalmers Avenue and Diana Cameron, 40, who lists a Liberty motel as her residence, were released on their own recognizance. They will be back in court June 19 for trial.

Vice officers out Wednesday afternoon said Page offered a sex act for $20 on Covington Street at Arlington Avenue; Cameron wanted $15 on Lincoln Avenue at Covington Street; and Thomas quoted a price of $20 at Williams and Woodland avenues.
