Tuesday, May 22, 2007

WARREN — Paul White, 24, of Warren, was sworn in as the city’s newest police officer today at city hall by Service Safety Director William Franklin.

This brings the department strength to 83, two short of the authorized strength.

White is a 2001 graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and served three tours of duty in Afghanistan and one tour in Iraq. He graduated in December from the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy at Youngstown State University. He is married to the former Kathryn Nuzzi.
