CANFIELD CITY

May 18

Drug paraphernalia: A 30-year-old Salem man was picked up while hitchhiking on N. Broad Street and arrested on charges of possessing and concealing drug paraphernalia after police found a silver crack pipe on him.

May 19

Drugs: A 36-year-old Greenville, Pa., woman was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a marijuana bowl, two packs of rolling papers, one rolling machine and two bags of marijuana in a plastic bowl in her possession on U.S. Route 224.

May 20

Dog fight: A German shepherd was reported in two separate incidents to have attacked two dogs on Topaz Circle. The first dog was taken to the veterinarian because his stomach was ripped open, and the second dog, a dachshund, was also taken to an animal clinic. The shepherd was reported to be owned by a resident of the street.

May 14

Auto theft: From the lot at Regal Cinemas, 6020 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine and an Austintown woman was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road, was broken into.

Criminal damaging: Plastic pipes were damaged at Trumbull Supply, 1040 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: Cosmetics were taken at Rite Aid, 5498 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A Craftsman 22-inch lawn mower was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Avenue.

Theft: Charges were made to the company fuel card at Allied Waste, 4550 Thatcher Lane.

Auto theft: A 2003 Pontiac Sunfire was stolen from Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Blvd.

May 15

Theft: 170 gallons of fuel were stolen from Pilot Oil, 1150 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A man was arrested for stealing items from a vehicle at a home in the 40 block of N. Edgehill Avenue.

Drug offense: Bogus prescriptions were phoned in to Rite Aid, 5490 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A JVC AM-FM compact disc and MP3 player were stolen from a home in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.

Breaking and entering: A fenced-in lot was entered and a trailer with a New Holland tractor and Woods cutter were stolen at North Coast Energy, 3890 Oakwood Ave.

Attempted theft: A window was shattered on a vehicle but nothing was taken in the 10 block of N. Roanoke Avenue.

Theft: $120.17 in gasoline was stolen by a 1980s Chevy Conversion van driver at BP, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A woman was issued a summons for theft of clothing at DOTS, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A compact disc player and amplifier were stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft : A vehicle was entered and a stolen property list is to be provided police from a home in the 100 block of Navarre Ave.

Drug offense: An Austintown man was arrested on warrants and marijuana was found at an apartment in the 400 block of S. Raccoon Road.

Burglary: A television and DVDs were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Nassau Court.

May 16

Breaking and entering: A window in an overhead door was broken out at Lube Stop, 5010 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A tail light assembly from a truck was stolen at the Rebel Truck Stop, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: $16 was stolen from an auto in the 10 block of N. Roanoke Avenue.

Drug offense: A mother discovered her minor son's marijuana plants at a home in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.

Auto theft: A 1990 Buick LeSabre was stolen from St. Anne's Church, 4310 Kirk Road.

Theft: A man was issued a summons and released for a theft at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $10 in fuel was stolen from Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Criminal damaging: A business window was damaged at an office in the 1300 block of S. Canfiled-Niles Road.

Theft: $46.01 in fuel was stolen from Unimart, 890 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.

May 17

Vandalism: A front door glass was broken at Lou's Beer And Wine, 2975 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Drug offense: A Boardman man was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia at a home in the 300 block of S. Edgehill.

Receiving stolen property: A Youngstown man was arrested for receiving stolen property, registration plates, and theft, and a Youngstown woman was arrested for receiving stolen property at a Laundromat, 4224 block of Mahoning Avenue.

Theft: A woman was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Robbery: A man and his juvenile son were apprehended for a theft at Wal-Mart.

Breaking and entering: A rototiller was taken from a home in the 2000 block of County Line Road.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of E. Rockwell Avenue.

Theft: $43.96 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A female juvenile was arrested for theft at DOTS, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana on Mahoning Avenue at Wickliffe Circle.

Criminal damaging: A woman is a suspect in damage to a home in the 100 block of N. Navarre Avenue.
