NASA exhibit at New Castle school


NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The public is invited to tour a traveling NASA exhibit which has made a stop at the George Washington Intermediate School.

Pupils toured the 53-foot trailer of “Vision for Space Exploration Experience” today. The public will have access to it from 5 to 7 Wednesday at the school, 101 E. Euclid Ave.

Admission is free. Visitors will embark on a simulated journey to the farthest reaches of the solar system. From interactive holographic control panels to three-D imagery, visitors will discover what it might be like to live and work on the surfaces of the moon and Mars and to travel to Saturn’s moon, Titan.
