Water off Wednesday for some portions of Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — The waterline on West Radio Road was to be shut off at 9 a.m. Wednesday as work continues on the state Route 46 widening project. Water will be restored at 2 p.m.

Affected will be residents on West Radio, Rutland Avenue and West Viola Avenue. The shutoff will also affect 185 N. Niles-Canfield Road and 301 N. Kimberly Ave.

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency recommends boiling water for cooking and drinking for one minute after the water service is restored. The Youngstown Water Department will announce when the water is tested and considered safe.
