TRUMBULL COUNTY Animal adoptions

The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County has changed its animal adoption program to include free microchips for identification and a 30-day animal health insurance policy. The chips normally cost pet owners 25 to 30. Here are the adoption fees:
Dog adoptions, 65.
Cat adoptions, 65.
Spayed or neutered dogs and cats, 95.
Declawed cats, 95.
Caring companions, 130. They are taught basic commands by inmates at the Trumbull Correctional Institution. They can also be taught to recognize deaf signing.
All adoptions include the first set of vaccinations and worming, heartworm check, feline leukemia/AIDS test, microchip and health insurance policy.
