Five people are seeking party nominations for the Lawrence County treasurer's race. The winners will meet in November's general election and the top vote-getter will replace Treasurer Ron Patrick.



Five people are seeking party nominations for the Lawrence County treasurer's race. The winners will meet in November's general election and the top vote-getter will replace Treasurer Ron Patrick. Patrick was appointed county treasurer by the governor after Treasurer Gary Felasco was sent to prison. There are four Democrats and one Republican.
DEMOCRATS
ANDREW SENCHAK
Age: 56.
Home: Box 341, West Pittsburg, Pa.
Employment: Taylor Township tax collector.
Education: High school graduate.
Family: Wife, Marilyn; children, Suzette Runninger, Dr. Andrew Senchak, Donald Senchak, Benjamin Senchak.
Priority: Do a good job.
RICHARD L. RAPONE
Age: 46.
Home: 217 E. Edison Ave., New Castle, Pa.
Employment: Pennsylvania Power Company, credit representative.
Education: Lawrence County Vo-Tech School.
Family: Wife, Marybeth; children, Jillian, Marissa, Kyle, Spencer, Isabella and Sophia.
Priority: To embrace the honesty and integrity of professional accounting practices, ethics and standards and to be a hands-on and visible treasurer.
