Trumbull prison sergeant disciplined 9 times
LEAVITTSBURG — A former sergeant at Trumbull Correctional Institution who’s been fired, rehired — and fired again, is now trying to get his job back.
Since his hiring in 1992, George J. Adamrovich, 57, of Hubbard, has been disciplined nine times for violations of Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction policies.
These infractions include the crucifixion-style restraint of an inmate in 1998, giving a female inmate a ride in his personal vehicle and possessing a gun on the job despite his felony record.
