Blue Jays 6, Indians 2
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- Jake Westbrook allowed only an unearned run over seven innings. "I threw 98 pitches and still felt real strong," Westbrook said. "That's where you want to be in your last start of the spring." Blue Jays starter Victor Zambrano allowed two runs and two hits in six innings, struck out four and walked four. Ryan Roberts and Aaron Matthews had two hits apiece for Toronto. Cleveland shortstop Jhonny Peralta was hit on the back of the batting helmet in the second inning. Peralta was removed from the game and replaced by Asdrubal Cabrera, but said he felt fine. The Blue Jays scored five ninth-inning runs off T.J. Burton. Dustin Majewski had the go-ahead RBI single.
Pirates 5, Twins 3
BRADENTON, Fla. -- Twins right-hander Ramon Ortiz allowed one hit in four scoreless innings. Pittsburgh's Tom Gorzelanny, who entered his final spring start with a 9.45 ERA, allowed two runs and four hits in six innings. He struck out eight and walked one. "Everything was working," Gorzelanny said. "I was making pitches, keeping the ball down in the zone for the most part."
