WARREN -- Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, has planned a World Market Festival to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 21. The admission fee will be one can of a food product.
Advance registration is required for the Texas Hold 'Em tournament to be held at 5 p.m. There will be a 100 buy-in fee that equals 1,300 in chips, and those buying-in through April 19 will receive an extra 200 in chips. Payout will be to the top 12 players.
Checks, payable to the parish and mailed to Blessed Sacrament Festival, 3020 Reeves Road, Warren, Ohio 44483, will be accepted until April 12, and cash buy-ins end April 19.

Leadership Initiativeto pamper members
SHARON, Pa. -- The United Way of Mercer County Women's Leadership Initiative has scheduled a spa night for members from 4:30 to 7 p.m. April 18 at Buhl Mansion and Spa.
There is a nominal charge of 25 to cover expenses for this event. A six-month membership gift of 125 is required for non-members interested in attending.

Membership is open to anyone who has contributed 250 or more through a private dedicated gift or through the workplace to the United Way.
Arena footballto benefit Angels
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Angels of Easter Seals and Big Hits 106.1 WBBG-FM/Clear Channel Radio will sponsor an arena football game between Mahoning Valley Thunder and Cincinnati at 7:05 p.m. April 21 at the Chevrolet Centre.
A portion of the ticket sales will donated to the Angels and will provide services for children and adults with disabilities in this area.

Buffet luncheontickets available
BOARDMAN -- Poland Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and Poland Firemen's Association will sponsor a steak and chicken lunch buffet and raffle April 28 as a fundraiser for community service projects.
Serving will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Outback Steakhouse, 7000 Tiffany Blvd. S.
The menu will include potatoes, salad, bread and beverage. Each table will receive a complimentary blooming onion, and children 10 and under will receive a complimentary lunch of hot dogs and french fries.
Due to limited seating, tickets must be purchased by April 18. Tickets are 15 and are available at the main fire station, 111 S. Main St., Poland. For more information call (330) 757-8268.
Counseling centerreceives grant award
AUSTINTOWN -- The D & amp;E Counseling Center, a non-profit child and adolescent provider of mental health services, with facilities in Youngstown and Austintown, has received a 500 grant award from the Junior League of Youngstown.
The funds will be used to purchase toys, books and/or gift certificates for the Good Behavior Store at the center's Camp Challenge facility.
The store is part of a therapeutic program used to improve the behavior of children at the camp.
