Two Columbiana County men injured

BEAVER, Pa. — Two Columbiana County men were treated for injuries they received in an accident on Thursday, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Richard Renfro of Columbiana and Brian Bable of East Palestine were riding at 5:26 p.m. in a 1992 Ford Ranger driven by Travis Sobona, of Enon Valley, Pa., when the truck hit a utility pole on Anderson Road in Darlington Township and turned over.

Renfro was treated at The Medical Center in Beaver. Bable was ejected from the open bed of the truck. He taken by helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh where he was treated.

The state police said Sobona faces charges of driving under the influence and other traffic charges.
