U.S. Rep. Altmire meets with the people Saturday

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — U.S. Rep. Jason Altmire will launch his “Congress on Your Corner” program Saturday at the Shop ‘N Save Supermarket, 2016 W. State St., in Union Township.

Altmire of McCandless, Pa., D-4th, and some of his staff will be at the store from 2 to 4 p.m. to discuss issues and assist constituents with problems they may have with federal agencies.

Altmire, who represents Lawrence County and a portion of Mercer County, plans to hold other “Congress on Your Corner” events.
