Improper dumping of school debris cited

WARREN — A Trumbull County school demolition project has produced a citation from the Trumbull County Health Department for accepting improper school demolition debris.

Health Commissioner Dr. James Enyeart confirmed this week that his department issued the citation to Charles McGill, owner of McGill Septic Tank Co. on State Road in Kinsman for material it received from buildings being demolished as part of an Ohio Schools Facilities Commission project for the Joseph Badger Local School District.

Dr. Enyeart said the business accepted what the department would classify as construction demolition debris, which Ohio law requires to go to a construction demolition debris landfill.
