Beaver police seek pharmacy robber

NORTH LIMA — Beaver Township police are looking for a man who robbed a South Avenue pharmacy this afternoon.

Chief Carl Frost said that a man, described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, in his 30s, balding and wearing a stocking cap went into the North Lima Pharmacy shortly before 2 p.m., threatened employees and fled with Oxycontin, a powerful prescription painkiller.

The man fled on foot, the chief said.
