Two Beloit Elementary classrooms to reopen

BELOIT — District officials are preparing to reopen the two Beloit Elementary classrooms where pupils first reported symptoms of the rash that affected 37 in the district this month.

Classes resumed at the school last Friday, while the classrooms remained locked pending the results of Ohio Environmental Protection Agency tests. Preliminary test results, returned Tuesday, revealed no abnormalities, according to a press release form the district.

The rooms will be steam-cleaned before they are reopened Monday.
